(COMING SOON) THE SCANDINAVIAN FOLK ART SERIES | Mahjong with Nordic Style | American, Chinese, Riichi, Hong Kong, Singaporean (Copy)
PRE-ORDERS ARE EXPECTED TO OPEN IN JANUARY 2024!
The SCANDINAVIAN FOLK ART Series, Mahjong with Nordic Style. With beautiful symmetry and simplicity we love about Nordic style mixed with the Scandinavian folk art cuteness of our animal Jokers with amazing Viking symbols like the Viking compass winds (“vegvisir”) and the Viking ship Dragons!
In a Fjord White melamine tile with gray-blue undertones, this set comes with a Mint Green Tile Bag, Purple 3 Tiered Tassel, 160 tiles (with optional add-on tiles for Riichi and Singaporean styles of play), 2 dice and our infographic quick start guide! We number our flowers, which is unnecessary for the American Mah Jongg style of play, but opens up many other styles of play and it’s so important to us to keep things inclusive for as many styles of play as we can!
🀄WHAT'S IN THE PACKAGE? The My Fair Mahjong Scandinavian Folk Art Series includes:
- 1 MFM Mint Green Tile bag so that you can conveniently carry and store your tiles.
- 1 Purple Zipper Tassel to add a little pizzaz (make sure to grab your zipper to pull the bag open- the tassel is more decoration and can pull apart if you aren't careful).
- Card with Basic Instructions, Important Tips and Infographics to help get you started (does not include NMJL card for those playing American style- you'll still need to have your own NMJL cards).

🀄A NOTE ABOUT BATCH to BATCH VARIATION: Our tiles are custom created for each batch at the time of manufacture specifically for this design, so every batch varies slightly in tile and ink colors. Additionally, as combination machine and hand painted tiles, minor variations are to be expected.
🀄TILE DIMENSIONS: 1.5" x 1" x 0.4" (note that each set is hand made, so there can be slight variations in tile size and shape batch to batch)
🀄MATERIALS: Beautiful bright oil-based inks hand-painted on a Fjord White melamine tile.
🀄CARE OF TILES: Our tiles are extremely durable and will last the test of time, with a few recommendations to ensure you properly clean and care for them!
- DO NOT EVER use any form of alcohol-based cleaner, hand sanitizer or any wipe or substance with solvent properties! Alcohol based substances (like hand sanitizer) will dissolve the paint and it will wipe off the tiles.
- DO NOT fully submerge or soak your tiles for extended periods of time.
- DO clean your tiles with plain water or soapy water (most dish or hand soaps work well) and a cloth. Gently wash the tiles, rinse and dry quickly. You may also try antibacterial cloths; however, we recommend caution- make sure the wipes do not contain alcohol-based or any form of solvent before using. When in doubt, test the back of a blank tile to make sure you do not damage the full set.
- DO Keep the tiles out of direct sunlight for extended periods for extended care of the bright colors.
🀄DON'T FORGET YOUR NMJL Card for American Mah-Jongg Play!
🀄DO YOU SELL RACKS & PUSHERS FOR YOUR FULL SIZE TILE SETS? YES! We do! We have colorful, painted, wooden racks with magnetic pushers!! And the colors are beautiful and designed to perfectly complement our tiles and will also be suitable for use with any of your beloved sets you may already have!
🀄DO YOU SELL MATS or Tablecloths? Yes- both!! Check them out on our site here!
